Story

Kate Walker is a resourceful lawyer who is given an assignment involving closing a deal for her law firm that would allow them to gain control over a centuries-old automaton and toy company. The owner of the toy factory dies shortly after Kate arrives and a straightforward assignment suddenly takes an intriguing turn.

Gameplay Basics

Syberia is a third-person adventure game as you control the character of Kate Walker with your mouse and are able to interact with everything in her environment. The hand icon indicates that you can grab an object and can store it in your inventory.

When you see a magnifying glass, you can take a closer look at a particular item or area. The speech icon lets you know that you can interact with and speak to a certain character.

Throughout the game, you will experience beautiful environments that are visually engaging. The locations you visit are filled with statues, ancient buildings and complex automatons and machines.

You will also uncover additional details to the main story of Syberia through interactions with locals in the area. This keeps you actively engaged in the game as you are able to choose a series of conversation topics for each person you speak to.

Puzzles

Puzzle solving is a huge component of Syberia. Since the environments in this game are incredibly detailed, you must carefully examine your surroundings to discover the puzzles and their solutions. You can expect a variety of puzzles that will put your skills to the test.

For some puzzles, you must locate a key that is needed to make a particular machine function. Others require you to draw pictures, gain the favor of the locals or earn a certain amount of money.

Inventory

Your inventory allows you to store many different types of objects that you discover while playing the game. Some of these items are essential to solving puzzles, and others offer additional information that will help you unravel the mystery of the missing heir. Examples of objects you can save in your inventory include:

• Train tickets

You can also access a cell phone in your inventory. While you will occasionally need to make calls throughout the game, you will mostly be receiving calls at various points in the game.

Syberia is a point and click adventure game by Microids and released in 2002. Realmyst: masterpiece edition download.

In Syberia you take control of the American Lawyer Kate Walker who has been sent to a remote French village in order to finalize the takeover of a very unique toy factory.

As soon as Kate arrives the owner of the factory dies and Kate is sent across Eastern Europe searching for clues and the sole heir of the factory.

Syberia features gorgeous graphics and an interesting story line that will keep you engrossed until the very end.

How To Play

• Click on ‘New Game’ to play.
• There are a number of save slots but in this game there is no way to die or get stuck. You can always carry on from where you left off without worrying about whether you’ve missed something or ruined your game.
• Double click on the screen to run.
• Press ‘Esc’ to open your inventory. This is also where you can use your phone.
• The mouse cursor will change symbols depending on the actions that you can take.
• Glowing Gold Ring: The cursor will be a gold ring when you are telling Kate to walk about. It will start to glow when you have the option of changing scene.
• Hand: The cursor will turn to a hand when you have the option of picking something up.
• Magnifying Glass: The cursor will turn into a magnifying glass when you can look at something more closely.
• Dialogue Bubble: The cursor will turn into a dialogue bubble when you can chat with someone.
• Take Action: The cursor will turn into half a magnifying glass when you have the option of taking some action or using an inventory item.
• Equipped items will show in the bottom left hand corner. Press ‘Esc’ to unequip an item.
